The staff were incredibly nice and really kind without being intrusive. The location was marvellous, relatively near St Paul's Church. Besides, it was short walk to the old town, “ the sassi of Matera ”, and Matera town centre.

The room was absolutely stunning, with a jaw-dropping free-standing bath and a cozy kettle for making tea. We were delighted to find champagne glasses in the fridge, allowing us to enjoy our own bottle of sparkling Rose. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely, with a delightful selection of cereals, cheese, ham, pastries, and fruit. The young lady who checked us in, Giulia, was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. She even showed us on the map the best viewpoints and must-see attractions. The location was outstanding, just a block away from a charming shopping area and a perfect starting point for exploring the magnificent Sassi area with its cave homes and businesses. The room itself was beautifully appointed, recently remodeled, and the owner, Michele, was very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and everything we needed was provided. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to our room, which has never happened to us before. It was super clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the breakfast was delightful. The presence of a jacuzzi in the apartment was a mind-blowing addition, providing a refreshing escape from the scorching heat of the day. The apartment was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shades allowed us to sleep in undisturbed by sunlight. The air conditioning system worked flawlessly, offering a respite from the summer heat. The staff was amazing, going above and beyond to meet our every need. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and ensured that our stay was truly remarkable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a perfect summer getaway. And don't forget to try the amazing pizza across the street!

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the old town of Matera. It was within easy walking distance and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the historic charm of the city. the hotel offered a stunning view of the surrounding area, providing a picturesque backdrop for our stay.
The breakfast options could have been more diverse, but it wasn't a major issue for us as there were plenty of local delis nearby where we could find delicious products to start our day.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent! The room was beautifully appointed and had a private rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi, which was super romantic. The location was outstanding, just a block away from a lovely shopping area and close to the magnificent Sassi area.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more options for a heartier breakfast.

The city views from the garden were stunning, and the free WiFi made it easy to post envy-inducing pictures of my vacation. The Italian breakfast was decent, but who needs it when there's a deli nearby?
Oh, and don't get me started on the breakfast, I mean, who needs a diverse and authentic breakfast when you can just buy great products in a deli, right?

The units have a cozy feel with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. I loved the bidet and the free toiletries. It made me feel pampered and relaxed. The air conditioning in the quadruple room was a big plus, keeping us cool in the hot weather. Having a balcony was a pleasant surprise and the tea/coffee maker added a nice touch. And let's not forget the hot tub in the suite – pure bliss!
Some may find the bathrobes in the private bathroom unnecessary, but I personally felt they were a bit too bulky for my liking.

We had a fantastic time during our Christmas getaway. The hotel offered free street parking, which was very convenient for us. its location was perfect, just steps away from the main attractions in the area. We loved being able to explore the city center without having to travel too far. Another advantage we enjoyed was the private rooftop area. It was great to have our own space to relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the room could have used some refreshing.
